Virtual accounts
A virtual account is a set of bank details a payer transfers money to: account number, account name, bank and bank code. It is how money comes in by bank transfer.
A virtual account is not a balance. The response carries bank details only, with no wallet and no amount.
You can read two sets with the same endpoint:
- Your own, with no
customerId. - One of your customers', with that customer's
customerId.
Bank details are listed by currency. Only accounts a payer can use today are listed: active, long-lived accounts, and only the one Ryno exposes on each wallet, so at most one per currency and purpose. Standby accounts are not listed. Where the bank partner issued a sort code or an IBAN, the account carries it.

Which customers have bank details
- A customer of a partner whose customers' money is held in the partner's own wallets has no virtual accounts of its own. Its list is empty.
- A customer that is suspended or closed can still be listed.
